The HourWork portal now shows you what messages are waiting for a response!
How can I see unread messages?
- Log into your HourWork Portal
- Click the Retain tab
- Scroll down and click View Workers
The View Workers page now defaults to show the employees with unread messages at the top of the list. Employees with unread messages will appear with a blue 'text' icon next to their name.
Can I filter the list to only see employees with unread messages?
Yes! If you click the filter icon on the right-hand side, you will see a section titled 'Outstanding Messages'. After clicking the Outstanding Messages section, Admins can choose between viewing employees who are waiting for Location Responses versus employees waiting for Organization Responses.
What are Location Responses versus Organization Responses?
Location Responses are from employees replying to TouchPoint messages as well as responses from Announcements sent from the Location phone number.
Organization Responses are from employees who replied to Exit Survey messages as well as responses from Announcements sent from the Organization phone number.
How can a message be marked as 'read'?
When a message is replied to via email or through the portal, the message will be automatically marked as 'read'. However, if a message does not need a response but you would like to mark it as 'read'. Click on the profile of the employee and click either 'Location Messages' or 'Organization Messages' (whichever has the red dot next to it).
Once you click it, a box "Mark as no response needed" will appear and you can click that box - marking the message as 'read'.
On the other side, if you would like to mark a message as 'unread', follow the same steps, and 'Mark as response needed' will appear. From there, you can click the box and the 'unread' notification will appear!
Who can see Unread Messages?
Store Level Contacts, Regional Managers, and Admins can all view unread messages for their locations!
